1. Feeding system: This system is equipped with a specially designed fabric dispenser, which is used to evenly distribute the coconut coir to be processed on the filter belt. Water filter belt component: The water filter belt is one of the key components of the equipment, consisting of an upper mesh belt and a lower mesh belt, both of which have a surrounding mesh belt structure. The mesh belt material is made of high-strength, corrosion-resistant, and well permeable materials, which can withstand the pressure of high pressure on the rollers and ensure the smooth discharge of moisture and salt through the mesh holes. The lower mesh belt receives coconut coir from the fabric dispenser, while the upper mesh belt cooperates with the lower mesh belt to effectively wrap and press the coconut coir during the pressing process.
2. Desalination unit: The desalination unit is the core component for desalination of coconut coir, including a dehydration zone and a separation zone. There is a set of pressure rollers in the dehydration area, which is generally composed of an upper pressure roller and a lower pressure roller. When the upper and lower mesh belts carry coconut coir into the dehydration zone, the pressure roller group overlaps the upper and lower mesh belts to preliminarily dehydrate the coconut coir between them. Due to the majority of salt being dissolved in water, a large amount of salt can be filtered out during the initial dehydration process. The separation zone is located at the rear end of the dehydration zone, where a water spray is installed to humidify the lower mesh belt. The humidified coconut coir further dissolves its salt, creating conditions for further desalination in the future.
